Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 September 2026

In short: your constituency's data is yours. We process it only to run VoterIQ for you, we never sell it, we never pool it with another customer's, and every user account can only reach the geography you give it. This page explains that in full.

1. Who we are

VoterIQ is a product of Digiview Technologies ("we", "us", "our"). Our registered office in India is at 3rd Floor, Sastry Bhavan, Above Apollo Information Center, Ongole, Andhra Pradesh – 523002. We can be reached at office@digiviewtechnologies.com or +91 84999 34357.

This policy explains how we handle personal data in connection with the voteriq.co.in website and the VoterIQ platform. It should be read alongside the agreement between us and your organisation, which governs the platform itself.

2. Two different kinds of data

It matters which of these we are talking about, because our role is different in each:

3. Website data we collect

When you submit the demo request form we collect the name, phone number, constituency, role and any message you provide. We use it only to respond to your enquiry, arrange a demonstration and, if you become a customer, to set up your account. Form submissions are delivered to our email through a third-party form relay service; they are not stored on this website.

Our web server keeps standard access logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps — for security and to diagnose faults. These are retained for a limited period and are not used to build a profile of you.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this website, and we do not run third-party analytics. Fonts and every other asset are served from our own server, so loading this site does not send a request to any other company.

4. Platform data we process for customers

Customers upload or ask us to load the electoral roll published by the Election Commission of India for their constituency, together with past election results and their own operational records. This may include names, ages, gender, house numbers, relationships, contact details and records of requests made to the office.

We process this data solely to provide the VoterIQ service to that customer — parsing the roll, mapping parts to villages and households, computing analysis, running the grievance workflow and producing exports the customer asks for. We do not use it for our own purposes, we do not enrich it with outside sources, and we do not use it to train models.

We are not a data source. VoterIQ does not sell, supply, resell or provide access to voter data. We do not compile voter lists for sale. The only electoral data in a customer's account is the publicly published roll for the constituency they are entitled to work on. VoterIQ is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Election Commission of India.

5. Separation between customers

Customer accounts are separated at the data layer. One customer's records are never visible to another, never combined into a shared pool, and never compared across accounts — including where two customers contest the same seat.

Within a customer's own account, access is scoped: each user sees only the geography assigned to them, and that restriction is enforced on our servers, not merely hidden in the interface. It applies to exports and reports in the same way it applies to screens.

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

We share data only with service providers who help us operate the platform — cloud hosting, database services, email delivery and error monitoring — and only to the extent they need it to perform that function. They are bound to protect it and may not use it for their own purposes.

We may disclose data where we are required to by law, a court order, or a lawful request from a government authority, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim. If we receive such a request relating to a customer's platform data, we will tell that customer unless we are legally prohibited from doing so.

7. Where data is stored

Platform data is hosted on servers operated by our cloud infrastructure providers. Some of our service providers, and our own USA office, are located outside India; where data is transferred internationally we take steps to ensure it remains protected to the standard described in this policy.

8. Security

We apply measures appropriate to the sensitivity of this data, including:

No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If a breach affects your data we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law, without undue delay.

9. How long we keep data

Demo enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and, if a relationship follows, for the life of that relationship. Platform data is kept for as long as the customer's account is active. On termination we will return or delete the customer's data on request, subject to any period we are required by law to retain it. Backups are cycled and overwritten on a routine schedule.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to confirm what personal data of yours we hold, to correct it if it is wrong, to erase it, or to withdraw consent you previously gave. Write to office@digiviewtechnologies.com and we will respond within the period the law allows.

If your data sits inside a customer's VoterIQ account, that customer decides how it is used, so we will direct your request to them and support them in answering it.

11. Children

This website and the VoterIQ platform are intended for use by adults in a professional capacity. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes affecting customers will be communicated directly.
